Scope of Works

This intermediate school required two transportable classroom units with four learning spaces and two separate units as ablution blocks.

Large decking areas were constructed with ramps and stairs for access, and verandas for shelter form the weather.

The classrooms were positioned to welcome people on to the school grounds and provide a place for students to sit under cover on the steps.

Testimonial

Susan Wood, Principal – Maeroa Intermediate School

The process of getting new classrooms at our school was amazingly stress-free for me as Principal of the school.

Earlier on I was shown models of the buildings and the little modules for break out spaces/toilet areas that we could choose what would suit the needs of our school. We chose the colours for the autex wall coverings, the vinyl and the carpets. We were given a date for the arrival and the process began onsite.

The builders that were onsite were fantastic and very helpful. The MoE Project Manager and the other project managers involved were most helpful and tried to do their best to accommodate what we wanted for our school.

The classrooms are lovely inside and our teachers are really looking forward to working in them this year. I can say that getting our two new buildings – four classrooms, was a very easy process for me and our new classrooms are great.
