Covered Walkways
BUILTsmart® install pergola canopies to the full length and width of the decks. Canopies are constructed from Aluminium powder coated frames and Colorsteel roofing.
Accessibility Ramps
Accessibility ramps are designed to meet the Ministry of Education Standard of a 1:14 gradient. Finished with 140x40 grip tread pine and installed with Moddex handrails and Eco Glo strips meeting requirements of the New Zealand Building Code.
Deck Construction
BUILTsmart® decks are designed to meet the Ministry of Educations standards of 4kpa, founded on 125x125 H5 timber piles cast in concrete to form a minimum deck height of 500mm from ground level. All our classroom decks are finished with 140x40 grip tread pine with Moddex handrails installed to comply with industry standards.
